The Energy Cooperative of America will
Continue to Offer Substantial Savings on Utilities

We’re growing! After 13 years, The Energy
Cooperative of New York, Inc. is expanding its
services into the State of Pennsylvania. As
a result, it has taken on a new name that more
accurately describes its services. Effective
March 1, 2010, the Energy Cooperative of New
York will become the Energy Cooperative
of America, Inc.
This expansion will allow the Energy Cooperative
of America to offer business customers in the
State of Pennsylvania the same tremendous savings
that it has been providing in New York State.
As a Not-for-Profit corporation, The Energy
Cooperative of New York is able to provide its
5,500 members with the lowest possible energy
pricing. In 2009, customers received an average
savings of 22% on their natural
gas supply and an 8% savings
on their electric supply. Since its inception
the Cooperative has saved its members more than
$21M.
The Energy Cooperative of America, Inc.
will continue its mission of providing customers
with the same expert services they have grown
accustomed to receiving, and upon which it has
built its outstanding reputation within the
