Energy Coop Purchases New York Industrial Energy Buyers, LLC.
Effective January 2010, The Energy Cooperative of America, Inc. purchased 100% of New York Industrial Energy Buyers, LLC. The New York Industrial Energy Buyers, LLC is an energy service company providing electric supply to large industrial end-users in New York State.  We are approved by NYS Public Service Commission and serving National Grid, NYSEG & RG&E territory.  The company was formed in October 2004.  2009 Gross Sales were 2.3M.

The Energy Cooperative of America has received approval from the Pennsylvania Utility Commission (PUC) to provide electricity to customers located in the PPL Electric Utility Territory.
